As you know, we would not have any races without the support of volunteers.  So thanks to all of the Club members that helped at Buster Britton, XTERRA and the AL Sports Festival triathlons the last two weekends.  The races could not have happened without your support!

Free Maintenance Classes - Like us, you are probably riding a ton.  So, we thought it would be a great idea to refresh everyone on the basic maintenance practices necessary for keeping your faithful steed moving smoothly.  Join us at each location July 10 and 24 for our free Summer Maintenance Refresher classes.

Tour de France 
July 13, 2010
Join Vulcan Triathletes at Billy's Bar and Grill in English Village on Tuesday, July 13 for a Tour de France Social!  We will gather in the downstairs bar at 7:00 pm, after the Tuesday night group ride to watch stage 9 of the race, eat some burgers, and "discuss" who will be wearing the yellow jersey.  Join us (but if you watch live, please don't spoil the finish). 
 

CHATTANOOGA FOR THE WATERFRONT TRIATHLON
 
Pre-Race Dinner - July 10th
Are you heading to Chattanooga for the Waterfront Triathlon? Come have a pre-race dinner with your fellow Vulcan Triathletes at the BIG RIVER GRILL AND BREWING WORKS (222 Broad Street - 423.267.2739).  We will meet at 6:00 pm. Big River Grill is located just blocks from transition and very close to most downtown hotels.  Please email sfarrington@bham.rr.com by FRIDAY, JULY 9 if you plan to join us and how many are with you. We need to give BRG a head count. Good Luck and HAVE FUN!
