OLD HICKORY LAKE TRIATHLON
June 26, 2010
400 yd swim / 1.5 mi run / 12.5 mi bike / 1.5 mi run
Sumner County, TN - north of downtown Nashville

We are so excited to be bringing you our 9th year of this popular event. Team Magic started our Tennessee triathlon adventure with this event at just over 180 racers and now we sell out at our event capacity of 448 racers. So, don't wait, plan to join us for this unique triathlon, with the run course split into two segments.

The host community - the cities of Hendersonville and Gallatin in beautiful lakeside Sumner County and the local triathlon club (HEAT) - makes this a wonderful event for all racers. The support is awesome, so expect plenty of course protection by local police and the many volunteer groups.

The swim course is great for first time open water swimmers - a quiet cove off of Old Hickory Lake.  Register now! 

TOUR DE FRANCE SOCIAL
 
Tour de France 
July 13, 2010
Join Vulcan Triathletes at Billy's Bar and Grill in English Village on Tuesday, July 13 for a Tour de France Social!  We will gather in the downstairs bar at 7:00 pm, after the Tuesday night group ride to watch stage 9 of the race, eat some burgers, and "discuss" who will be wearing the yellow jersey.  Join us (but if you watch live, please don't spoil the finish).

CHATTANOOGA FOR THE WATERFRONT TRIAHTLON
 
Pre-Race Dinner

Are you heading to Chattanooga for the Waterfront Triathlon? Come have a pre-race dinner with your fellow Vulcan Triathletes at the BIG RIVER GRILL AND BREWING WORKS (222 Broad Street - 423.267.2739).  We will meet at 6:00 pm. Big River Grill is located just blocks from transition and very close to most downtown hotels.  Please email sfarrington@bham.rr.com by FRIDAY, JULY 9 if you plan to join us and how many are with you. We need to give BRG a head count. Good Luck and HAVE FUN!
