FANNY FREEZE AND FROLICKING EVENT

The 2nd Annual Fanny Freeze and Frolicking is just around the corner.  This event is put on by Vulcan Triathletes in conjunction with Team Magic.  It is a for-fun event with a several different bike/run options to choose from.....plus some cool prizes.

OAK MOUNTAIN = 2 MILES OF TRAILS IN 2 DAYS
 
When:  Saturday, March 6th; 8:00 am to Dusk

In a collaborative effort between BUMP and Cahaba Cycles, plans are to finish the single track around the lake during this special work weekend. ALL are invited to participate...cyclists, runners, hikers, nature lovers. It promises to be an awesome weekend of work and fun. Come on out and bring your family and/or friends. Lunch will be served and great swag handed out, including 4 yearly passes to Oak Mountain (2 on Saturday and 2 on Sunday). In addition, there will be a night-ride on Saturday so bring your bike and lights.  Free camping in the field across from the BUMP shed for this weekend only.
 

POWERMAN ALABAMA WEEKEND

Mark your calendars now for March 27th and 28th.  Changes with administration in the City of Birmingham have once again sent Team Magic searching for a new location to keep the Powerman Alabama tradition alive.  The new location is Oak Mountain State Park, just south of downtown Birmingham.  Team Magic chose this location based on a positive history with the long-running Buster Britton Memorial Triathlon and close proximity to metropolitan Birmingham.

This will be one incredible weekend full of racing.  See the event schedule below and visit Team Magic's web site for more info.
