Youth Triathlon (Ages 7-10): 100 yard swim / 5k bike / 1k run

Adult Triathlon: 400 yard swim / 20k bike / 5k run

Schedule of Events
6:30 am - Transition area opens / Packet Pick Up at Oak Mountain State Park

7:30 am - Youth Triathlon (7-10) (Tentative) Start Time

8:00 am - Youth Triathlon (11-15) (Tentative) Start Time

8:30 am - Adult Triathlon (Tentative) Start Time

Age divisions
Youth: Ages 7 - 15
Adult: Ages 16 and over
Note: 13-15 year olds may choose to compete in either the Youth or the Adult race.
Age determination date is December 31, 2010.

Awards
Individual:  Alabama Sports Festival State Games Medal awarded for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place for the top 3 overall male and top 3 overall female. Age group awards will go to the top 3 males and top 3 females in the following age groups: Youth: 7-8, 9-10, 11-12, 13-15 Adult: 13-15, 16-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65 & Over
Relay: Each individual on the 1st, 2nd and 3rd place relays will receive an Alabama Sports Festival State Games Medal.

The Adult and Youth races are USAT-sanctioned events.  All participants must be a member of USA Triathlon.  Any USAT non-member must purchase a one day membership to participate in either race (age group 7-17$5; 18 & Over $10).  Non-members must sign up for a one day membership at check-in on Saturday morning June 20, 2009.
